I am now beginning a different program then was doing in May. I have decided to make it a three month plan, instead of a simple single month push.
I will be starting with supplements, such as multivitamins and other important vitamins, but I will NOT be starting on protein until the new year.
In the first month I will not be doing very much cardio, as I will be focusing more on weight lifting, the increase in muscle actually assists in fat burning! So in the second month when I begin more intense cardio I will be stronger and will be able to burn more calories and fat much easier.
So far I have been just warming up to the idea and have been doing different exercises, and have been doing 3 sets of 12!
Each day I do different ones targeting different parts of my body, for example todays workout was
- Crunches
- Alternating Deltoid Raise
- Bent Over Two-Dumbbell Row with Palms in
- Bent Over Two-Dumbbell Row
- Bodyweight Squat
- Split Squats
It was definitely an intense work out, and I'm in a lot of pain but I know when I head to the gym tomorrow morning I will feel amazing!

Update!
Today is the 26th and this months challenge is almost over!
This past week has been rather crazy.
My gym visits this week have been strictly cardio excluding Fridays workout which was focused mostly on weights.
For the cardio portion of each visit I spent 30 minutes on the stepper, 10 minutes rowing and an average of 10 minutes on the treadmill as a cool down at the end of each workout.
This week I plan on heading to the gym every single day Monday to Friday for that last push before the weekend.
I know a lot won't happen before the weekend but a great end to the month is my plan!
The month of June I plan on raising the bar on this and continuing my challenge!

Other Equipment
My last post was focused on what you absolutely need to work out (Shoes, Water bottle). The gloves are only needed if you lift heavy weights (Not heavy in general but heavy to you).
These next few things are not essentials to be able to do yoga and Pilates but it doesn't hurt to have any of it.
The first that I will mention is Yoga socks.
They are not nessesary but are helpful for... well not slipping!
Some people may find them a little uncomfortable but if you can handle toe socks
This Yoga block is lightweight and provides the stability needed for optimal alignment and deeper poses, especially for beginners.
Music is a big deal, it gets you pumped and motivated it also helps pass the time especially if you work out alone! This armband s also really helpful so you don't have to worry about carrying your ipod around.
These things may look a little weird and may not look like they do every much for you but they are little miracle workers! I'm telling ya!
Just twist twist twist and twist! You can stand there watching tv and twist!
This simple weight makes it easy to enjoy working out as it's grip and handle do a great deal and surprisingly makes your posture improve. It is much easier then other weights and it can be used in many different ways

Week 3
Hello Everyone!!!
I'm back again with another update!
Right now with my squats i have moved to doing 30 squats 4 times a day, it may sound a little crazy but it really isn't, once you get going it is quite simple!
I wake up in the morning and the first thing i do is my squats, and then i was up and head to work. Once I'm home i do another set. I have dinner and so yet another, and right before i head to bed i do the last set.
I do go to the gym twice a week for about 2 hours. At the gym i focus on cardio, usually with the different machines but mostly the stepper and the bike.
The food that I have been eating has been lots of veggies and also chicken, some say it isn't the best, but i find it helps to keep me strong.
I have been looking into different vitamins to take, example one a day multi-vitamins but i haven't chosen just yet.
Thats all for this update! I'll be back soon !

Week 1
The last 6 days i have strictly been focusing on Pilates and weights.
Mostly squats! I started with 10 twice a day, and each day i added an extra 5, so it became 15 twice a day, and then 20 twice a day.
Eventually it will go back down and end up being three times a day.
I have also been doing curlups, they hurt so bad, but one is equivalent to 6 crunched!
I have also been working on weights, focusing mostly on my arms but i have been working my legs a little bit. I will soon be starting at the gym, which will consist of cardio!

Essentials!
So its a little obvious of what the work out essentials are but i thought that I should post mine!
So obviously shoes are the most important, i would love to see you try to work out properly without shoes!
It took me a very long time to decide which shoes were best for me, I looked at websites and tons of stores until finally I walked into sports check and found them!
The last of this essentials list is simple! A water bottle! There is no need to buy those one use bottles when you can buy a bottle anywhere [Yes even the dollar store!] that you can use over and over again!
Why not help save the world while your saving your health!!.

My Beautiful K-Swiss shoes! soooo pweety!!
Anyways my shoes! They are very comfortable and very bright, they got a great arch and yeah all in all they are perfect for me!
Next thing I want to talk about is my gloves!
Gloves are very important when weight training especially when you have softer skin on your hands, as the heavier the weights are it will start pulling and causing callus.... nasty!
But mine are basic! You can buy them pretty much anywhere that sells work out equipment.
